Every year millions of letters to Santa reach the North Pole. Many are requests for presents. And many letters have questions about Santa, the elves and workshops, the reindeer, and, of course, the North Pole.
Now Mrs. Claus has her own gift for you - for the first time ever, she's taking a break from her very busy schedule to answer real questions from children of all ages. Join her on a tour of the North Pole and learn some of the best kept secrets of Christmas from the person who knows it all - Mrs. Claus!
* How does Santa get into my house if we don't have a chimney?
* What is Santa's favorite kind of cookie?
* Where do elves come from?
* Can all reindeer fly?
Beautifully illustrated by David Wenzel, bestselling illustrator of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, this picture book reveals the answers to the questions children always ask - and they're all answered by the woman who knows the most: Mrs. Claus!
About the Author
Christi Love created her list of questions for Santa by posing as Mrs. Claus at various events across the country. She firmly believes in the magic of Christmas and especially of the stories that involve Santa Claus. She frequently tours as Mrs. Claus, collecting more questions from children to answer.
David Wenzel is an extraordinary illustrator and children's book artist, best known for illustrating the bestselling Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and his visualization of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, illustrated in graphic novel format.
Review
Just in time for the holidays, comes along this delightful book that just begs to be read! To be frank, I myself looked forward to reading this book and I wasn't disappointed! The book answered some of the questions swirling around in my own mind, rather than that of my toddler who just knows Santa brings gifts. He's too young for questions, but when they come, I look forward to sharing this book with him. He did sit with me as I read this, and he was delighted by the bold illustrations and we had fun identifying the various objects in the pictures.
It's a magical book to be sure, and if you know a kid who comes up questions about Santa that perplex you, then be sure to get a copy of this book! It'll make an ideal gift for both parent and child!

I've wanted to read this one. So far the only question my younger son has really asked was "Do elves have a boss?" I thought it was odd, but simply said that Santa was their boss!

My daughter comes up with really tough questions about Santa (she's five!). One is why do we buy toys to donate to the toy drive if Santa brings toys for "every girl and boy"? Another one is why does Santa bring some of her friends everything on their list but not everything on her list? Why do I get such hard questions anyway? :-)

What a wonderful book! My Children are older now and no grandchildren for a while, so I'll leave this contest for others but I too thought of questions my children has asked were one, 'Does Santa have to drop off gifts then fly back to the North Pole to deliver more?"

My four year old daughter, who loves books by the way, has come up with some tough ones this year, including: why does Mrs. Claus have to stay home? why does Santa make toys if they sell them at Wal-Mart? why doesn't Santa leave Mama presents? I'm sure there are more to come and this would be great! Thanks~
